Introduce:

Any business or manufacturer has no stock magnesium alloy pipes, because magnesium alloy pipes basically need to be customized, and the most common production process is extrusion.

Magnesium alloy pipe extrusion technology and process.

In order to be able to produce extruded tubes of magnesium alloys, previously prepared hollow blanks are generally used, in which the inner diameter corresponds to the inner diameter of the tubes. The blank is mainly realized by mechanical processing. The hollow blank is only used to obtain pipes with an inner diameter of not more than 25 to 30 mm. In order to manufacture pipes with larger inner diameters, a new process is adopted, that is, the blank is processed in one working cycle of the press. The expansion process coincides with the tube extrusion process. For extrusion, a solid billet with a central hole is used, the diameter of which is about 75% smaller than the inner diameter of the tube. In this way, material consumption can be reduced by 20% to 30%, and a large lathe is not required to align the blank.

Advantages:

Good heat dissipation: The thermal conductivity of general metals is hundreds of times that of plastics. The thermal conductivity of magnesium alloys is slightly lower than that of aluminum alloys and copper alloys, much higher than that of titanium alloys. The specific heat is close to that of water, which is the highest among commonly used alloys.

Good recyclability: As long as the cost is equivalent to 4% of the price of new materials, magnesium alloy products and scraps can be recycled.

Stable supply of resources: The reserves of magnesium in the earth's crust ranks eighth, and most of the magnesium raw materials are extracted from seawater, so its resources are stable and sufficient.

Good vibration resistance: under the same load, the vibration damping is 100 times that of aluminum and 300 to 500 times that of titanium alloys.
