Description

The method of plate making is to coating the board with anticorrosive wax or preservative (generally made of yellow wax, rosin, asphalt and other antacid materials), forming a layer of anticorrosive film, painting on the board with a carving needle, and then put in the corrosive liquid (commonly used nitric acid solution) corrosion. Where the anticorrosive film is scraped by the engraving needle, it is corroded and forms a concave line. The longer the corrosion time, the deeper the concave line is. After removing the anticorrosive film version is formed.
